Just barely getting over this terrible cold. Probably the worst I've had in a long time. Two days full of fevers. Worst of all, I was in school when it first began. I really wanted to be at school though, so I stayed. Basically a good seven hours with a fever, while trying to pay attention in class. Finally got home and took some medicine. Then my smart-ass decides thats its a good idea to go out. Not such a good idea. I spike a fever again and so I decided to go home.

The next day I woke up with another fever. I was so tired and felt too weak to even get up and take my own medicine, so I forced my mom to bring it to me. I consistently took meds every 3-4hrs to keep any sort of fever from happening, so I was okay for the rest of the day. I stayed in bed all day watching the 2nd season of Grey's Anatomy.

Yesterday was the first day that I didn't wake up with a fever. Feeling much better, I took some medicine, ate some food, and finished up the season. I had a party to go to, planned for almost 3 weeks now, and I wasn't gonna miss it. It was pretty fun. And I really am feeling better, so it worked out fine. Today has been good too. It seems the worst is over. Now I just have a cough and a runny nose.

I think the worst part of being sick is that everything taste completely different. :(

dunno how many fans around here, but i grew up with this stuff on saturday morning TV. (at least i think it was saturday lol)

i was at circuit city, picking up The Ultimate SCREAM Collection, and Queer As Folk: The Complete First Season (Collector's Edition) for my friend's birthday tomorrow when i happened to stumble on a beautiful DVD that threw me back into my elementary years.

unfortunately, they only had the 3rd season (latest one out), but i wasn't gonna pass up this golden opportunity. soon as i got home, i went on to amazon.com and ordered season 1 and 2. they're actually pretty damn cheap. the 1st season was US$50, but 2 and 3 were only US$20.

anyways, just thought i'd share this grand occasion as it truly was the highlight of my day. funny too. as just last saturday, at my cousins birthday (turned 8), me and his brother (my other cousin, Mark) were talking about how awesome Beast Wars. my youngest cousins were playing with my super old beast wars toys hidden in my closet. i'd like to think this is a wonderful coincidence, but V's words come to mind. There is no coincidences, only the illusion of coincidence. (paraphrased maybe, but you get the picture)

anyways i'm rambling!

quite possibly the coolest beast wars picture ever.

Was out all day with Kelly. We went to go see Silent Hill, was pretty good. I give it 8 1/2 out of 10 Alex Stars! It was pretty "lol" when it shouldn't be, but I think it was due to the dialogue and the acting. Not to say Radha Mitchell is a terrible actress, she's fairly good. Some of the gore in the movie was pretty fucking sweet though. lol I never played the game, so I cant judge it from a fan viewpoint. But I enjoyed the movie. :)

Afterwards, we went to Justins for a surprise visit. Ended up wandering the mall. Went to Rite-Aid or w/e and got some ice cream. Then went to Tower and I got Special Edition of SE7EN. (One of the most amazing movies you will ever see in your lifetime, if you haven't seen it, come on over and watch it!)

Today, we went to Krikorian again. They were holding this Wizard of Oz thing where you can get your face painted, and take pictures with Dorothy. And, they set up the Wax Museum thingy so Dorothy, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, and the Tinman were there too. It was pretty cool. Then they screened the movie in their big rooms. Was cool, seein The Wizard of Oz on the big screen.

Anyways, today we're celebrating my cousin Kevin's birthday. I'm in the midst of cleaning and stuff. My Dad swears it takes hours upon hours upon hours to vacuum the house and clean my room. I'll be done in like a half hour, an hour at the most.

Well, thats that!

p.s. i still wanna see Lucky Number Slevin and Thank You For Smoking.

another week of work. still not much for myself, but i've managed to go to bed at midnight to add a few hours every day. 6hrs of sleep is pretty good. I've put in about 15hrs or so into KH2 finally. Still a long ways from beating it. Switched over to Anetheron server on World of Warcraft. It's a New PvP server. Come and say hi! For the Horde! (cuz alliance sucks balls)

oh. finally started reading The Da Vinci Code lol. it was at the store the other day, and i was like.. well. the movie is coming out, better read the book! so i bought it. bout 120 pages into it, absoulutely amazing!

the best thing about having a job is seeing something you want.. and buying it! lol like last saturday. went to the store to pick up Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories ($20). ended up buying that, and Premium X-Box 360 ($400), Ghost Recon ($60), Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion ($60), X-box 360 Wireless Controller ($50), and some warranty. ($58) Granted, I didn't buy everything alone. lol My dad and I split it half & half, as he's wanted it for quite a while too. He's been getting way more out of it. Whenever I get home at 6:30pm he's on playing lol. I haven't touched it since last sunday. >.< And Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (my game, Ghost Recon is my dads) is not even opened yet. lol

p.s.

the hills have eyes is still a horrible horrible horrible movie

V for Vendetta. Best movie this year.

Hills Have Eyes. One of the worst movies this year.

Picked up Kingdom Hearts II Sunday afternoon. Haven't had a chance to play it. :( Probably wont really be able to play until Thursday. My new job is 8am-5pm. But $10 is worth it. Pretty easy job too. So I get home, I eat dinner, and its almost time for bed. And World of Warcraft and TV gets in the way! Prison Break... Twenty-Four... American Idol... House... argh!
